Where is the festival located?
The Shrimp and Wine festival is located on the property of Sans Soucy Vineyards amongst the vines, in Brookneal, Virginia.

What kind of shrimp will be available?

General admission guests have plenty of delicious options for vendors to purchase shrimp dishes but we will also have plenty of non-shrimp eats! : Besides the platters, our vendors have everything from Coconut Shrimp, Shrimp Bisque, Shrimp Skewers, Shrimp Po Boys, Shrimp Dip, and Bangin' Shrimp Salad- plus local bison, barbeque, and burgers for our landlubbers!

Does the general admission price include a souvenir wine glass?
Your general admission ticket price includes a souvenir wine glass from the Shrimp and Wine festival, live music and entertainment from 12-6pm. Don't Miss Out! We have limited advanced tickets available at the $20 level and they will be on sale until 5pm on September 10th or until sold out (whichever comes first)!

Do you need volunteers?
Any great festival owes much of it's success to the volunteers. We have a volunteer sheet below the festival poster image at the top of this page. If you can find it, you've passed the test and we consider you an ideal volunteer!

What wineries will be at the Festival?
Sans Soucy Vineyards will announce this year's lineup soon! This year we will also feature 4 Virginia Craft Beers at our beer tent!

Will the Famous BlackBerry Ginger Sangria be available at the Festival?
But, OF COURSE!! As always, our Sangria is available for sale by the glass or pitcher. We just had to change up how we make it at the tent to keep our ABC agents happy! All wineries will have wines available for purchase by the glass or bottle.

What type of food will be available for purchase?
Besides shrimp, we'll have dessert vendors, bbq smokers, and more! Food, wine and beer will be a'plenty and available for purchase!

Can we bring our own food and drink?
No. Due to insurance reasons, no outside food or drink will be allowed on the property for this event. Coolers will be inspected at the gate.

Are children allowed at this event?
YES! Children and pets are always welcome at Sans Soucy Vineyards events.

Is overnight stay available?

All of this for $350/couple (min of 5 tents needed max of 15) subject to substitutions

Parking of self contained RV's or camping is available on the property. Unfortunately there are no facilities available on that side of the property, but we do have really big trees!!!!!! :) There are various B&B's in the area including Harper's Mill Bed & Breakfast. Rooms are also available at Camp Hat Creek.
