Visit our Child Life Toy Wish List

Our family has seen first hand the amazing impact the UVA Child Life team makes in the lives of so many children impacted by illness and undergoing treatment at The University of Virginia Children's Hospital. Our very own Reese has battled Leukemia there since 2016, and from Day 1, her treatment has been so positively impacted by the special Child Life Team at UVA! We hope you'll join us in supporting this worthwhile cause that benefits children throughout the Central Virginia community! By purchasing an item on the Shrimp & Wine Fest Wish List  you'll not only bring some happiness and distraction to a local child's face on a tough and scary day. Please help us work towards our goal of donating a total of $4000 worth of new toys to the department in 2017 during this year's event!

**IMPORTANT** Please confirm the shipping address is set to the list default address. All orders must be received at the vineyard no later than 9/7/17:

Where is the festival located?
The Shrimp and Wine festival takes place on our farm in Brookneal, Virginia- home to Sans Soucy Vineyards/Staunton River Brewing Co., amongst the vines in our natural amphitheater. It's a cool, laid back atmosphere, and a perfect venue for a true farm festival. No concrete pavement at this event!

What kind of shrimp will be available? General admission guests have plenty of delicious options from various vendors to purchase shrimp dishes but we will also have plenty of non-shrimp eats! : Besides the platters, our vendors have everything from Coconut Shrimp, Shrimp Bisque, Shrimp Skewers, Shrimp Po Boys, Shrimp Dip, and Bangin' Shrimp Salad- plus local bison, barbeque, and burgers for our landlubbers! This year, we're excited to introduce food trucks from Vittles SoCo Kitchen, T&E Catering, Gregory's Grill Catering, and Melrose Bison Farm's farm- to- fork stand.

Does the general admission price include a souvenir wine glass?
Your general admission ticket price includes a souvenir wine glass from the Shrimp and Wine festival, live music and entertainment from 12-6pm. Don't Miss Out! General Admission: $25.   VIP: $35    Designated Driver: $10

What's included with the VIP Upgrade?
Our VIP Tent features convenient covered reserved table seating and access to our limited-access VIP restrooms located on the back side of the tent.

Do you need volunteers? Any great festival owes much of it's success to the volunteers. We have a volunteer sign up email link below. If you can find it, you've passed the test and we consider you an ideal volunteer!

What wineries will be at the Festival? With veteran event wineries like Rebec, Homeplace, and Sans Soucy among others, there will be plenty of great wines for tasting and for purchase by the glass, case, or truckload! Back this year, we will also be serving up our very own Staunton River Brewing Co. beers!

Will the Famous BlackBerry Ginger Sangria be available at the Festival?
But, OF COURSE!! As always, our Sangria is available for sale by the glass. All wineries will have wines available for purchase by the glass or bottle.

What type of food will be available for purchase?
Besides shrimp, we'll have dessert vendors, bbq smokers, and more! Food, wine cider, and beer will be a'plenty and available for purchase!

Can we bring our own food and drink?
No. Due to insurance reasons, no outside food or drink will be allowed on the property for this event.

Are children allowed at this event?
